Campbell painter Bruni Sablan was born in São Paulo, Brazil but has made the South Bay her home since the late '70s. She does portraits of "every great jazz musician who ever lived." "The Jazz Masters Series by Bruni"--which consists of over 1,200 oil paintings of jazz and blues musicians--can be glimpsed at Bruni's Campbell Ave. gallery, along with her abstract still-lifes and tributes to humanitarians like Mother Teresa and Martin Luther King.
